We all know that the new series Carrie Diaries has started in January 2013. Most girls that loved Sex and the City went crazy for the series and so did I.
It gives so much fashion inspiration and DIY ideas. Well since I love doing nails I decided to incorporate the ideas into nail designs.
One of the most popular DIY project that this show has started was the Nail polish purse.
Everyone has been doing this DIY like crazy on blogs and YouTube. I decided to change it a little.
I went for the nail design.
Since it is inspired I did not do a exact replica of the bag. I just showed a new technique to make your nails look awesomely messy yet trendy.

It's almost Halloween, in two days you guys can go crazy and all out with dressing up, make up and nails.
Since I did allot of spooky nail designs I thought of a more cute one this time. The Heroes from Marvel.
Allot of you guys will be dressing like them so why not do the nails like them too.
Or just for the ones that aren't doing anything. Stay home and paint your nails. It's not like you have to get rid of the design by the next day. Marvel nails isn't only Halloween related. They are just something you can wear all year long.

Monday I started the Halloween Nail Affair series, Spook me out!
We did the first set of mismatched nails for you guys to try out. Mix them with each other or just pick one and do that design on all nails.
Now this tutorial I didn't film it. I thought of just showing pictures how to do it since not everything should be video made. I will explain what to do and hopefully you guys will understand.
So let's start with looking at the whole design.
This design consists of 5 different designs. And like all Halloween tutorials I will be doing you get a variety to choose from. And there is always a plain one for the less daring girls out there.
So in about 3 weeks it's Halloween and everybody is excited to dress up and go partying or trick or treating.
Me on the other hand don't really celebrate Halloween.
Well here in Curaçao allot of people does not celebrate it. There are parties, but no trick or treating like I would love to.
Some people do get all excited with the dressing up but that's just a little group.
So for the ones like me that doesn't really want to celebrate it or for the ones that wants to go all out I got a nail design for you guys ... Well 5 different designs.
Allot of people like miss matched nails. Others don't, but you can always choose one design and keep doing that on all the nails. It's up to you what you want to do.

Allot of people are excited for fall because they love layering they're favorite clothing items and favorite colors.
Well I got some designs that we can use to layer those nails too.
I covered a fall color we often wear and a trend that is really trendy this season.
The peter pan collar and a striped, metallic and beaded nails.
Its been a while that I have paid attention to my nails. Gotta excuse that. With my health in danger I didn't do it.
Now that I'm so much better we can start again.
We all know that your nails can be your best accessories to an outfit if you don't like arm candies.
If it is a simple nail design, an over the top one or just a simple manicure with a topcoat.
They all matter, they all complete the outfit without you even noticing it.
Fall is all about dark colors, more warm colors that we don't really use in the summer, but this year they threw that dark color rule out of the window. Like they say: "Rules are meant to be broken."
Well they did. This fall more and more bright colors are being portrait in outfits and of course in the manicures.
On the runway we have seen from neutral / natural nail colors to bold and bright ones. Every designer has their own perspective how they want the trend to be this year.
So I am going to talk all about them. My style is a bit more daring in the Fall and I will be doing some daring nail designs for the fall, but this post is more for the less daring girls out there that want keep it a bit simple.

There are allot of trends nowadays that you just can't keep up with all of them and you can't buy them all.
You can't spend money like crazy on items that you may not know if you can keep using them the next seasons coming along.
So best way to incorporate them into your wardrobe and not spend allot of money is to make a nail design out of them. Yes it may sound impossible but if you think a little bit outside of the box you can make it happen.

So I know as you guys were reading the title you were thinking like really? Border nails? That's so boring and easy.
Well I don't really care how easy it is. It's an nice simple design that you can do on your nails when you don't have enough time to do extravagant designs.

You can always mix it up, make it dramatic or keep it calm.
But one thing you should remember. Always start from the basic. Cause without basic you can't move forward.
