Girls Night Dinner with the Curaçao Bloggers

Hey cuties,

So as you guys can see the Curaçao Bloggers got together again and had a dinner date!!
Yes we had a nice girls Night Dinner !

After Saturday that the whole group went to Starbucks to meet each other we decided to have another meet up. Since some of the bloggers wasn't able to be at the first one.
So everyone went to The Grill King.
I was a bit late and when I arrived almost everyone was already there.
All the girls looked so pretty. From H to T ...

At first we got a table right next to the music. The table was beautifully set for us, but after a couple of minutes talking we decided we wanted to change tables. Music was too loud.
So we went to this beautiful fish tank table.

We spent the night talking, laughing, having fun and we ate too since that's what we were supposed to do.
So all in all the night was a great success.

Baby back ribs! It was so much I couldn't finish it.

Studying abroad, Leaving your hometown.

Hey cuties,

So it's Monday, first day of the week. Hope everything started great for everyone.
But just a reminder. Start your week off with a smile and finish it with a BANG.
Keep that in mind and your week will be great !

So now back to the main point why I wanted to write a post.
Starting of from today till Wednesday there are allot of students that are leaving Curaçao to study abroad. Most of them are going to The Netherlands to finish what they started or to start something for their future.
This means leaving your hometown, family, friends and maybe even boyfriend. Which is very hard for everyone at any point in their live.
So I thought why not give them some support to let them know that the're not alone in this.

Leaving you hometown behind to study abroad is hard, but its for your own future. Maybe at first you'll feel that you made a big mistake by leaving everything you had behind, but it's not. After a while you will feel more comfortable and you will get used to the new lifestyle.
Something that you could do is to recreate your own lifestyle back where you are going to live. It may work for some people but for others it may be really difficult to get over leaving.
So it's good to know your own mind strength.

Start by making new friends. Its always good to make your friend circle bigger. Since you may not be seeing your friends for months or years its a great time to make new friends. They will be there for you when you wanna go out, talk or study. So don't hesitate.

Try to always keep in touch with family, but tell you parent to not call every 6 hours of the day cause that will make it even more difficult for you to step outside of your shell and become the WOMAN or MAN that you want to be. In the beginning its good to get a call every day or so. But as the months go by. Make it one call a week and . That will let you get used with everything and you won't feel like your family is forgetting about   you either.

I can keep on going with allot of things that you guys can do, but in the end it's just everyone's own decision how they want their future to be.
But to make it happen, it's got to start with YOU .
No one else.

SO I hope every one has a great Monday.
And to all the student. Have a safe flight to The Netherlands, you'll always be our ' Yu di Korsou '

See you soon,

Blogger meet up Curaçao edition & OOTD's

Hey cuties,

Today was a great day.
Our Blogger friends are on vacation here in Curaçao.
So today we had a fun meet up at Starbucks.

So the day started as we all read at Starbucks at 11 o'clock.
We all bought a drink or something to eat and sat there to talk a little and get to know each other.
At 2 o'clock our adventure began. We all know that when a group of girls go walking in town... well they wont come out without buying something.

So we went on our journey. First off was Ackerman with the girls. Then we just went into some clothing stores to see which shoes they have. Yes .. SHOES .. We were loving the clothes too, but you know. A girl gotta have some shoes. Yet we didn't buy anything yet.
Great huh?

Next we went to INGLOT . Yes my dear. INGLOT.
That's the store no guy would ever go with his girlfriend in.
But yeah  we went there and had allot of fun.

There was this guy working there. OMG he is like the best salesman I've ever met. He talked us thru the place and showed how everything worked. He even gave us some tips and he even did some of us' face.
He was so fun.

We swatched like crazy but damn. GlamorousGia made a whole make up canvas of her hand.
Super funny when we saw her get crazy in the store.

So yeah all in all we had allot of fun. I enjoyed the day and I think the other Bloggers did too. I am looking forward for the next meet up that is Thursday. I will keep all you cuties up to date with what happened at that meet up.
This is such a great way to spend the last couple of weeks of vacation. Just talking with friends and doing what girls do best.

Nail Affair | Transitioning summer fashion trends into nail designs

Hey cuties,

Okay so it's been a while, I know !
I'm sorry for that, but now I'm back.
I'm back with a new video too. Something that will help allot of people out when they are stuck in the middle of a fashion crisis.

I transitioned summer fashion trends into nail designs. YES you read it alright.
There are allot of trends nowadays that you just can't keep up with all of them and you can't buy them all.
You can't spend money like crazy on items that you may not know if you can keep using them the next seasons coming along.
So best way to incorporate them into your wardrobe and not spend allot of money is to make a nail design out of them. Yes it may sound impossible but if you think a little bit outside of the box you can make it happen.

I paid attention to the trends that are really popular and that I turned into designs.

1. Gradient & Pastel
China Glaze  - Peachy keen
China Glaze  - Sweet Hook
Color Club  - Factory Girl
Jordana Pop Art  - Black Mark
Jordana Basecoat & Topcoat

2. Patterns & Floral
L.A. Color  - Summertime
Essie  - Mint Candy Apple
Vogue  - White
L.A Color Art Deco - Red
Jordana Pop Art  - Turquoise Original
Jordana Basecoat & Topcoat

3. Neon & Stripes

So as you may see. It's not difficult to incorporate your fashion trends into nail designs. Just a little thinking and you're already half way there.

So I hope you guys go and try this out with the trends you love.
See you soon,
